About Us

Imani Gordon, owner and founder of Gordon Groom and Pet Care Service, has developed her love for animals at a very young age. At two years old, she often assisted her grandmother feed the stray cats that surrounded her home, along with her own three cats. She was inspired by her grandmother's love and affection for animals.

Since 2016, Imani has developed long-term relationships with her clients and their "babies" through regular contact. Her main focus is providing pet parents essential tips throughout her years of experience.

Her experience over the years with animals is extensive and tends to reflect her passion for them . Imani truly is a pet-loving, animal-loving soul who has been volunteering for the ASPCA and keeping a sanitary environment for veterinarians since she was 14 years old. She began working at Philadelphia Zoo as a pony ride operator, and then continued to work there for about two years. Her responsibilities included providing customers with pony rides, camel rides, and horse rides; making sure the animals were all fed and groomed; and making sure the animals' runs were clean.

In her spare time, Imani was a pet sitter for Rover's "babies." Imani developed long-term relationships with her clients through regular contact since 2016. So you could definitely say she is used to being around animals all day long—and LOVES it! She recently decided to begin a new journey by creating a brand that not only caters to the needs of the animals she cares for, but also strive to educate owners on how to properly care for their pets. Transforming her passion for animals into a career as she established Gordon Groom and Pet Care Service LLC.
